Canna ‘Australia’ seedlings are making themselves at home.
These young Canna ‘Australia’ seem to be taking a vigorous hold. They arrived here as seedlings about eight weeks ago. They have been unphased by Las Vegas summer temperatures. (Highest temp so far this year = 116F)

My lovely new Tropicanna has suffered a sunburn.
How sad! But a happy ending is on the way: the new shoots coming up are better acclimated to the desert sun.
